Software Developer in the UK
We’re looking to add a talented Full Stack Developer to our growing software development team. You’ll be key to designing, developing and deploying full stack software solutions for the millions of pension scheme members that use our applications.Our Applications
• We build software for the UK pensions market.
• The software uses the following technology:
• ASP.NET (framework and core)
• JQuery, Typescript, Angular and React
• REST APIs
You will
• Work closely within one of the agile scrum development teams to build new and maintain existing features and functionality for our market leading products.
• Work collaboratively withdevelopers across multiple teams, solution architects and product stakeholders.
• Take ideas from proof of concept; to design; to production.
• Participate in workshops where you will have the opportunity to showcase your work to fellow colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
• A fluent proficiency in the latest versions of C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
• Proven understanding and usage of .NET Core and .NET Framework to develop Web API and micro service solutions.
• Established experience in data access/persistence, including ORM frameworks.
• A strong understanding of modern development principles, patterns and techniques such as SOLID, DRY, dependency injection and separation of concern.
• Comfortable with authentication techniques and technologies, including OAuth and IdentityServer.
• Diligent and accurate when it comes to unit and integration testing, with mocking.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Services and GIT version control.
• Knowledge and/or use of JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3 and popular JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular or React.
• Some exposure to Responsive Web Design (Bootstrap) will be advantageous.
